    The advisory board for the RLDP met in Columbus, OH for an all day meeting. We had a lively, fruitful discussion. Thank you to the RLDP advisory board for their engagement.

  • August and September 2014

    The head clergy pilot interviews and congregation surveys were fielded. Modifications were made to both instruments based upon what we learned from the pilot study.

  • October 2014

    The RLDP research team came to Columbus, OH for a two-day head clergy interviewer training. It was a chocked full couple of days. But, we still managed to have a good time. Go Team RLDP!

    Pilot study for congregant interviews and surveys begins.

  • March 2015

    Phase II Begins. RLDP conducts focus groups with attendees of multiracial churches in the midwest region. We gain a unique perspective by asking how attendees experience the pastor's leadership. 

  • August 2015

    All Phase I pastoral interviews have been completed. The RLDP team met in the hills of Ohio to develop inital codes. Summertime ends by finalizing the data analysis codebook. 

  • December 2015

     RLDP team members travel south to conduct focus groups with members of multiracial churches. 

  • April 2016

    Phase I head clergy interview data has been transcribed, de-identified and is being prepared for analysis. 

  • June 2016

    Phase II Data collection is 75% complete. 

  • December 2016

    All head clergy data collected, deidentified, and ready for analyis. 36 Focus groups completed for Phase II.
